About Clayton Area Homeschool Group (CAHG)
Clayton Area Homeschool Group (CAHG) is a non-denominational Christian homeschool co-op serving families in and around Clayton, North Carolina.
Our mission is to build a Christ-centered homeschool community that supports families through cooperative learning, fellowship, and encouragement. At CAHG, we value connection just as much as education—we are intentional about building meaningful relationships among our families.
We meet once a week on Friday afternoons during the school year, offering a variety of classes in a collaborative, supportive environment. Our goal is to enrich the homeschool experience while keeping participation accessible and affordable for families.
CAHG began in 2019 with just a few families gathering weekly for science units. Since then, we’ve grown with the vision of welcoming more homeschool families and expanding the classes and opportunities available to our children.
All of our classes are parent-led, and our co-op thrives because of the commitment of our families. Each household is expected to serve in volunteer roles throughout the year to help our co-op run smoothly.
CAHG is not a drop-off program—every parent is actively involved on campus each week, working together to support classes, activities, and the overall community.
